Re: Upgrade Program for Window 7

Is there anyone that can help with getting the 8530w (NH121UC#AMA) on to the Arvato upgrade website?

HP says it is upgradeable, Arvato says it is not.

Please help!

Arvato has a contact email. Send them a message and the problem will be resolved.

Re: Upgrade Program for Window 7

Hi,

Hoping someone here might be able to give me some help :smileyhappy:

Basically, bought a new HP laptop on the 4th of August, and when i first tried to register for the upgrade, it said my laptop (or similar) was not in the database, now it says i dont have the correct version of Vista, but i do have Home Premium.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Yeah did that.  Took a week for them to send me an email asking me to describe my problem, which I already had done in the original email.

[ Edited ]
i keep getting the same message "We are sorry, but the Model Number you have entered is not listed in our database" when i have bought my compaq presario cq61 on the 24/07/09 (UK date)  i have read on other places that people have the same problem but with no luck in getting it resolved, i am eligible for the up grade, the laptop came with vista home premium 32bit installed but why is my serial number not in the avato site?

Re: Upgrade Program for Window 7

EZRydr - This doesn't appear to be a product sold in this region.  Where did you purchase product?   Perhaps what's going on is that the ordering site being used is the North America (U.S. and Canada) for a product not sold in either country.  That would explain why this is not a recognized product.

Re: Upgrade Program for Window 7

eClaire,

I am in Chicago.  Ordered direct from HP.  I finally got a call back, they said they are escalating the issue.

Thanks

Re: Upgrade Program for Window 7

nathanmcc - Did you purchase in U.S. or Canada?  If not, that would be why using the North America site wouldn't recognize your product.  If you did purchased in U.S or Canada, let me know what your product number is.

Re: Upgrade Program for Window 7

m7md106 - where did you buy and what is the product # ?    www.hp.com/go/windows7upgrade   provides eligibility info and leads to ordering site.  Have you gone there, yet?
