Hi - I have gone through with all the solutions suggested in the thread above and am still unable to upgrade to Wondows 7 from Vista. I still keep getting the message "... update drivers for keyboard filter..." when trying to upgrade.
I have downloaded and installed SP46731 without luck!
I have a HP Pavilion DV4 1412tu notebook and the p/n is VM783PA#ACJ
Please can someone help!
I havent gone ahead as yet with the upgrade given this issue!

Hi Dan -
You seem to know what you are talking about.
I have a HP Pavilion dv4 (pn NU985UA #ABA)
I was trying to upgrade to Windows 7, but got the same keyboard filter message. I cancelled the upgrade.
What can i do to correct this incompatibility before i upgrade to Windows 7?
Thanks!
