Hey, I've been trying to fix mine for months. My laptop is the HP Pavilion Entertainment PC DV6700 and the coprocessor wasn't working.  This fixed it.  All is good   Thanks so much for the insight.

Hello, I've done everything that is said, I used dv6710ep, that is the name that is in the pc and the software that I found is Nvidia. But my computer has AMD. Can you please help me or give me more information?

By the way, I don't know what happened but I was trying to burn a dvd right now with dvd maker and it says: DVD burner was not found. Make sure a DVD burner is connected and installed, and then try again. Somenone have sugestions? I don't know where to ask this. =s

Thank you
