I had tried all i could even installed several drivers for use on my newly upgraded PC from Windows XP to windows 7 but i can not print

This worked after I deleted the windows printer that was installed.

I took a while to figure it out. I just seemed to have the wrong pages at first.

It is too bad the HP Support just brushes you off with HP 1115 is an obsolete printer.

Next photo printer will   NOT    be a HP.

HP did announce about 4 years ago when Vista was released that drivers would not be provided for devices 7 years old and older nor for some newer devices.  I assume the "newer" to mean due to limited sales.  After all, companies must have money coming in to pay people for developing software and with discontinued things there is no more money.

Another issue is providing drivers that work on the 32-bit and/or 64-bit hardware and versions of the Operating System/s.

You can use the photosmart d7200 dirver from micorsoft for 32 and 64bit operating systems in windows 7.This will

operate the 1115 photosmart just fine.For the machine that is hooked up to use the usb1 dot 4 settings.And any other

machines that are set up wireless just search for a printer and you download the driver from microsoft.

Driver Photosmart 8200 worked perfectly. I was able to configure it as a network printer through DLink 524-UP. Tks a lot!!!
