I recently installed Windows 8 Pro (clean installation) on my Envy 15 PC Laptop and also lost the valuable Beats Audio driver/software. I have tried to get it back several times unsuccessfully. HP has yet to have an answer for it.

I figured it out. Go to Hp's website and click on support/drivers. Bring up the windows 7 drivers for your computer (will ask for serial number etc). once you're there, install the IDT audio driver. After installing it, beats is automatically installed. Go to settings (by dragging mouse to the right of the screen), click on control panel and you should see beats audio control panel. click it to open from there. It wasn't opening for me, so I uninstalled the IDT driver, and reinstalled it. and everything is working fine now. I talked to 2 different HP techs and both told me that I had to wait for the windows 8 drivers. But I managed to make it work. Hope that helps!

Same issue here. Can't change the control direction. The UI for that tab shows a scroll bar and no way to save. Also pushing the Beats Audio button doesn't launch the control panel.
