Does HP receiver work on Windows 8

I have a HP system with HP RG sender installed and I need to access it from another system with Windows 8 beta installed on it. Everytime when i try to connect to this system, the receiver is unable to resolve/find the system to connect to, however when i try the same with a Win 7 system, it works fine. any solutions for the same,
