Printer driver for Photosmart C7180 for Windows 8 CP

I'm looking for a basic printer driver for my C7180 all-in-one printer that works with Windows 8 Consumer Preview.

Did you try the W7 drivers from the printer's support and driver page?

HP is not supporting the W8 Consumer Preview with drivers of any kind.

Can't find a basic driver. Only big installation .exe which checks for the OS version and does not install because it's not reconising the OS

Hi:

Sometimes you have to get creative.

Did that file extract to a folder on your PC? 

If so, try to manually install it by updating the driver from the printer folder and browsing to that folder, or use a free program like 7-Zip and break down the executable into its parts.

You can try that select the printer from the list and the "Have Disk" prompt and browse to the folder where the drivers are.

That way you bypass the OS check.

The HP Printer Install Wizard works with products connected with a USB cable or with a wired (Ethernet) or wireless network connection. If you would like to connect your product wirelessly, but it is not yet on a wireless network, you need to temporarily connect the product with a USB cable to run the wizard.

all these wizard does it gives me a link to device manager what i already did.

I need drivers for scanner!
