Warranty issue on Upgrade to Windows 8

 I was told by a Tech last week that the warranty on my TS 610 purchased April 2012 would be voided if I upgrade to Windows 8 when available. This was not mentioned when I purchased the computer from company When I made the purchase I mentioned I planned to upgrade when 8 was available. I was told it was being beta tested on the 610. Is company going to void warranties if upgrade is made from 7 to 8?

Upgrading to Windows 8 will not void your warranty.
