dv6013 nvidia go 6150 will not install in windows 8 [ Edited ]

Hi:

See if you can install the driver by going in thru the back door.

Download and run the file above. Close any error messages that may appear.

Then go to the device manager. Click on the standard VGA adapter. Click on the driver tab. Click on the Update Driver button.

Select the "Browse my computer for Software method and browse to the installation folder that was created when you ran the file.

That will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp34636.

Make sure the Include subfolders box is checked and hopefully the driver will install.

Hi. Thank you for your response. Once I installed ver 5.1.2600.024 Nvidia System Management Controller, \sp34636 installed directly from the SWsetup folder. I appreciate your help. Thanks again.   Al
