I'm trying to figure out how to zoom in with the camera on my hp Elitepad 1000 G2. The pinch and zoom feature works when reading in apps, but not the camera. Am I missing something? I really need to use the zoom while taking pictures for my job. Thanks!

Hello Garrettlee12

Could you be more specific as to what you are doing exactly?

If you mean you're trying to pinch and zoom the view screen of the "Windows Camera App", it doesnt work that way.

There is no "physical" lens zoom capability on built-in laptop webcams.

You can zoom in on a photo taken after the fact, but not in the app itself while live viewing.

Digital zoom would have to be available on the program used to capture the video image but if so, would be terrible looking due to the low resolution of the webcam.

Hope that helps.
