Elitepad
Microsoft Windows 8 (32-bit)
Hiya guys. I own an HP elitepad which I've had for about 2 years & until yesterday all was working fine. Now when I turn it on its coming up that the product info is not valid saying the system board info is missing or invalid.
I have tried everything I can think of but to no avail. I have tried a hard reset but nothing seems to work.
I don't understand why it's suddenly come up with this when it was working fine the day before.
I know it's running Windows 8 but no idea if it's 32 bit or 64 bit

Hello @AndyCov6470

Could you tell us the full model or product number please so we can help you more accuratley?

Should be on the bottom somewhere.

Also be specific on the error message it gives.

Thanks.

The error is says it that the product info is missing or invalid then it lists the model no, product no, CT number all of which are blank.
At the bottom of the screen it says press enter to continue however when you do the blue HP symbol comes up & the white dots just keep going around in a circle

That doesnt sound right. I cannot pull up anything with that code.

Also, can you boot into the bios and run the HP Diagnostics tool to see if you have a bad hard drive?

Run the diagnostics with the power cord plugged in.
