3641au notebook ethernet/lan drivers (can't find)

Hello all,

 

trying too find ethernet/lan driver for the 3641au laptop. Not after the wireless driver.  if anyone could help me out be much appreciated.

 

I have looked on hp download site but the driver is not included maybe it might be bundled with another driver. http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3413040&...

Hi,

 

Try installing the Chipset Driver on the link below.

 

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=32...

 

After the installation has completed, restart the notebook.

Dunno why i installed that cause it was for intel.  The laptop is amd :smileyhappy: an now its stuck on compac load screen lol my own fault for lack of information

Hi,

 

This is getting stranger :smileyhappy:

 

The Product No. would indicate This notebook. - however this comes with the Nvidia Chipset!!

 

Can you let me know the following ( if the notebook will still not boot into Windows, let me know ).

 

Open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and open up Display Adapters.  Right click on the device listed here and select Properties.  Click the Details tab, choose Hardware Ids from the dropdown box and post back with the details shown under Value.

cheers david got it too boot back into windows.  downloaded the chip set for nvida an for lan/networking works great.

 

I have searched everywhere an never found a nvida chip set for this laptop an walla type in p/n an its there hehe...
