first advice about manual installation of driver causes this: when I try to update this message appears
"Device driver is located but there's a problem during installation.
HP integrated module with bluetooth 2.0 wireless technology
Impossible to complete the installation
missing voice in the installation-file of device driver.
Possible reason: INF file was written for Windows95 or subsequent. Ask to hardware seller"
second advice: i removed previous bluetooth driver and installed that other one but in the mid of installation error occurs "impossible to complete installation based on script"
:-(

Nuts!
Try this last revision of the software...
If that doesn't work...
I don't know how you feel about trying to Install W7 Ultimate again, but this time, follow the recommended order to install drivers.
Not installing the drivers in the recommended order can cause hardware not to work properly.
The recommended order to install drivers is as follows:
1. Chipset. Install and reboot. (not on your notebook's driver page)
2. Graphics: Install and reboot.
3. Audio: Install and reboot.
4. Wired network adapter (you have the driver and know how to install it now by installing via the device manager).
http://www.broadcom.com/support/ethernet_nic/netxt
5. Wireless network adapter. This is the latest driver from Intel (2012 March 14). Use the first download listed.
6. Bluetooth driver and software this is the latest one for Windows 7.
7. Modem:
8. 3D driveguard:
We have to get this to work!

Nothing: when I try the manual installation of the driver i get the same error as before:
"Device driver is located but there's a problem during installation.
HP integrated module with bluetooth 2.0 wireless technology
Impossible to complete the installation
missing voice in the installation-file of device driver.
Possible reason: INF file was written for Windows95 or subsequent. Ask to hardware seller"
Actually I think I will keep my pc this way, i'm leaving for erasmus in few days and I don't have time nor adequate knowledge in the matter to reintall everything again; the most important problem was the ethernet connection and you solved it :-) i think I will be able to survive without bluetooth for a while.
If it happens that I have to reinstall win7, I will follow your advice and let you know then.
...however, when I was with ubuntu it was much simpler: I never had to download any driver, everything just worked:-)
thank you very much for the help

You're very welcome.
Sorry I wasn't able to nail this one down for you.

Last thing:
since my bluetooth doesn't work, is there any use in keeping "hp wireless assistant"? if it was only for switch off bluetooth/wireless when i'm not using them, since i only have wifi, can't I use the pc-button only?
i know it's a minor issue, but i simply do not like having on my pc what is unnecessary... XD
thank you

Hi:
There is no value in having the W/A installed unless you have a working bluetooth device.
Accordingly, it can be uninstalled.
As you wrote, if you need to turn the wireless network adapter off for one reason or another, you can use the button.
I, like you, do not have any unnecessary software installed on my PC's.
