Wendy,

Glad to see an HP representative in the forum answering a question.

Now, would you like to answer the question I asked Garen on January 15 in this thread and never got an answer to?

Kent

Hi,

I have a hp pavillion dv 6000 laptop, out of warranty but my wireless just vanished now my laptop will not boot ,after turning it on it just shows blank screen and keeps switching on and off. HP said that if this happened during warranty it would be fixed free of charge, WHY I say this is a common problem they know about already so why not recall all laptops even those out of warranty to repair them, they give you an extra year to cover themselves to which they do not tell you when purchasing,

I have a Presario 730US and cannot get the wireless adapter turned on. It is not shown in device manager but I know it is in the computer as I saw  it load the drivers and open one time.
