Atheros Adapter is not working properly.

Goodday everyone,

 

I have a problem with my atheros AR5007 802.11b/g Wifi Adapter, since i changed my operating system vista to windows 7 my atheros frequently falls out. Sometimes five times a day and it's making me crazy. I don't know much about computers on how they work, i have installed different drivers hoping to get this problem solved, it ain't work.

 

Can someone tell me how I can fix this problem?

I forgot to say that i have a HP Pavilion dv6810ed Entertainment notebook.

Hi,

Uninstall from system current drivers for Atheros wireless.

 

Resource:
Uninstalling Software in Windows 7

Uninstall or change a program in Windows 7

 

Download and install Atheros Wireless (ver 8.0.0.316) from here.
