Bluetooth On dm4-3055dx No Longer Functional

Hello, this is my first post. I hope all goes well.

My HP dm4-3055dx laptop came with the broadcom bluetooth driver, and while experimenting with the program I ticked the option to "hide icon". I was unable to reactivate the icon in the taskbar, and I decided I would uninstall the driver and reinstall it through the HP support site page for the dm4-3055dx. I downloaded the driver after uninstalling and in mid-installation for the broadcom driver I receive a message declaring that there is no detectable bluetooth hardware. I'm assuming the Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator plays a role in the situation? Thanks to all in advance for feedback.
