How do I connect a bluetooth device to my HP Pavilion g7 Notebook PC, OS Windows 7 64 bit?

Hi,
Firstly you need to check to see does your laptop have Bluetooth (not all of them have. Please note g7 is a series of many models). User manual of the device should tell you how to connect, otherwise try similar to this:

Thank you for your response. I was able to successfully pair my Bluetooth headset to my HP laptop (that is the device does appear in the Bluetooth devices panel), but I cannot actually get it to perform. I get no audio in the headset from the computer so it appears that the devices are not actually connected. Also I've been getting an error message stating "unable to start bluetooth stack service". Any help would be deeply appreciated.

Yes, I did watch the video. I've been in contact with tech. support, they were trying for about 3 hours to fix the problem, but to no avail. It seems that there are too many registry errors and I was told that I have to use the system recovery feature in order to solve the problem. But many thanks for your help.
