Compaq Presario C776CA connects to wireless but no internet

Compaq Presario C776CA Notebook PC

Never had a problem until we changed our internet provider... now it can't get an internet connection through wireless. If I plug in the ethernet cable it works fine. We have a 2 other laptops in the apartment that all connect to the wireless fine (if it is relevant, one is a mac book and the other is a gateway notebook).

I have tried all the troubleshooting stuff and nothing works. I haven-t tested it, but I am sure the laptop would still connect to other wireless connections, just not this one. WHY and how do I fix it?

This is the error I get on Google chrome: (sorry, in French)

Erreur 105 (net::ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED) : Impossible de résoudre l'adresse DNS du serveur.

Please, help?

Hi:

if you have an Atheros wireless adapter in your notebook, see if the latest driver fixes the issue.
