DV6-2150us Entertainment PC --Bluetooth issue--

Specs:

win7 ult. (OEM:win7 prem)

4gig ram

280gig out of 300gigs are Free.

 

Broadcom Wireless N

broadcom Bluetooth 2.1 HP intergrated  <--------------

 

 

Problem:

before i would use the Bluetooth to send/recieve files to my cell phone, or use the the computers speakers instead of the cellphone, to use it also as a internet connection...all was successfull...

 

I did some updates...critical no doubt...and MSI wasnt functioning right..some other things...

so i Reformatted...

 

Installed ALL the drivers from the HP site

run bluetooth setup..system sees it, accepts and says Ready to use...

even got the other bluetooth icon (installing software) icon.

 

It loads and theres the BlueTooth Icon,

Right-Click shows the context menu, but can not use "Open Settings"

the "add device" pops the window up, but its endless and never loads any devices.

 

The control panel doesnt show BlueTooth icon/settings, usually under "Network and Internet Settings"

Device Manager sees it, there are no issues on the device manager.

 

ive uninstalled/reinstalled several times...same problem...

ive recently ran the BroadCom Bluetooth Download tool...scans and sees the bluetooth and says validating, it validates and then it downloads the software and installs it, i reboot... still cant add/open settings or anything...

 

Wireless Works great, both LAN and Internet. everything works greate, except for Bluetooth.

 

 

Solution: havent got one...

 

system sees that its working properly no warning or errors.

 

any suggestions or solutions to solve this...its getting frustrating now....

After literally, 2 days searching and posting on here... Found the Problem...


For SOME reason...

Bluetooth Support Service, in Service.msc was on MANUAL and OFF

 

Why would it do this, i have no idea.

maybe an update needed to turn it off?? to update...
