Enabling intel My Wi-Fi Technology

Hello,

I am trying to enable Intel My Wi-Fi Technology on my dm4 and it just ignores me. Opening the utility wouldn't help either. Any idea as to what is the problem?

What OS and wireless card do you have??

Brand - HP Pavilion dm4 notebook

OS - Windows 7

I think the wireless card is Intel 802.11b/g/n WLAN (sounds right?)

Go to the Device Manager in the Control Panel and tell us what Intel card it is..

Intel My WiFi Technology is supported only on the Windows 7* operating system with driver versions 13.1.1 and newer.

Make sure you have the latest driver from Intel...

It should work. Have look at the intel forums. There might be a better chance to find some answers because HP is not the only one computer manufacturer..

Also i've an Atheros wifi card, this could help (it shouldn't be a driver problem, however, use the latest!):

I have tried every option to enable intel.Have just been to control panel. thanks mimi
