Hi:

You may have a different model wireless adapter.

Please post the full model name and # of the wireless adapter you have, and I will send you the link to the latest drivers for it.

You will find that listed under network adapters in the device manager.

If that doesn't work, I would contact HP technical support since you just bought the notebook.

Might be a hardware issue with the card, since it hasn't worked from the get-go.
