HP Pavilion DV7 1113 EO Wlan trouble

I can not connect my HP Pavilion DV7 1113 EO to the internet trough WLAN. The machine will get fine to the net through wire. I have tried every possible trick. The computer sees the wireless net but fails to connect. It doesn´t even ask the key. If i blug the wire in it will get to the net right away. My battery is totally finish. Will that have an effect? I installed new drivers.  I installed new Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit Operating System. what´s wrong.

Try updating the driver to the latest one. If you have a newer router, that is probably the issue.

The battery shouldn't matter. Plug the notebook in if you want, to see if for some unknown reason, it does make a difference.

I downloaded and istalled the SP, but still no Wlan connection. My laptop can recognize the wireless net available, but fails to connect.

I don't know then why it won't work. It could be a hardware issue.

The trouble was my Asus Wlan WL-600g Wlan router. In the end it found my Hp, but failed to let me into the net. OmG - Guess I need a new router.
