HP Pavilion dv6405us not picking up wireless card, any suggestions

I just got the computer up and running after putting in another hard drive, but it is not picking up the wireless mini card module. The light is amber and it should be blue if it is working. I am running Windows Vista, any help would be appreciated.

Hi. First, make sure that the wireless ahrdware is detected at the motherboard. Go to BIOS and see if you can view it from there.

 

Next, go to device manager and see if the drivers are completely installed.

I did not see it listed in either place, do I need to get another wireless module? It should be listed as some kind of WAN device shouldn't it?
