Help atheros wifi adapter code 45.

HP Pavilion DV9700-9999us

Windows Vista 64-bit

Computer will not identify any wifi networks. It is acting as if the computer does not have a wifi adapter. The wifi adapter is Atheros AR5007 802.11 b/g. It gives a code 45.
