How could i use SIMI slot under battery for internet access?

Hi,

I am using a HP Mini 110-3700 (Windows 7 starter). It was said that there is a SIM slot under battery for internet access(the same thing is also written in HP user manual ).  In fact there is an empty slot under battery marked for SIM without proper SIM holding mechanism. Can you please tell me what exactly is it? and how could I use that sim slot for internet access?
