How to open radio hardware switch to enable WiFi?

Product Name:  HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC

Product Number:  A2B62EA#ABV

Operating System: windows7 home premium

 

WiFi is off. I can't make it on. it tells me to turn on the hardware radio switch to enable WiFi.

Where is the hardware radio switch? how can I turn it on? how can I enable WiFi after that?

Hi. Try hitting FNkey+ F12. That should enable the wireless. You would also see a notification if its currently off or on.

I tried to hit fn key+f12 as you told me, but it didn't work.
