Hi,
You will have to configure the wireless router with this system using the Router GUI. If you received a setup cd with the router then you can use it or logon to router manufacture's website for configuration settings.

Ok..so do you have a router or can you tell me the make of the router..If you do not have a router then you may be using wifi.
What is the name of your Internet Service Provider?
If you are unable to find any of the above then try this:
Click Start and Type: repair and then click Identify and repair network problems.
Once it is complete click on View Detailed Information and then click Detection details. Open the filename NetworkConfiguration.cab. Then click on the text file called ipconfig.all.txt. Copy the contents from this file in your reply.

sorry for not replying for so long i forgot to add this; but i'll just put it a already written letter, cause im too tired and its in the middle of the night, i put this up in yahoo answers and what came was just a stupid answer "my hp g62-320 a wifi doesn't, it was working fine when i bought it, but now when i connect it to the default network, it connects, but doesn't have internet connection, when i mouse over the pop up thingy it says "Not connected -- Connections are available". But it doesn't have internet connection, and when i troubleshoot it, it says "You have no preferred wireless networks" and "Problem with wireless adopter or access point". The hp wireless assistant is always on. A few weeks ago it worked when the HP support assistant was updating. so how do you fix this? detailed answers please."
and heres the details of the repot from the my hp g62-320ca
