For the last 2-3 weeks now, I keep losing my connection to the internet with the error message of slow or no connection.....I watch a lot of movies online and here lately while 25-30mins into the show or movie, I lose my connection with the sight saying that it is looking for a better speed for my machine when really it has completly stalled out! To the point where I have to Restart to get the connection back....
I have had the modem checked (all lights are on, even when I lose my connection) I've rebooted the modem several times in the begining thinking it was the modem, but it's not.
I have called the service provider to see if I may have lost something or if something is wrong on their end, Nothing there.
I have talked to all the online site providers to see if there was a problem there.....HULU, FANCAST, YOUTUBE,NETFLIX and several others where I watch movies. Nothing there! This is starting to get real old.
The last time I talked to AT&T she suggested that my wireless card may be going bad even if it is new and I also upgraded my service plan to have the highest speed, which really should not have made a difference as I was using their basic speed before and it was playing very well. now I'm paying for more and still can't watch movies.I have not downloaded anything different nor installed any new programs or software.
I am at my wits end now, I don't know where else to check and I do have all the upgrades too.
I am running an HP Pavillion dv9335nr with Windows Vista, Can somebody help me, please??
