Internet not working after Windows Reinstall Pavilion DV7t-3300

I have an HP Paviilion Q DV7T-3300

p/n WHY64AV

Windows 7 64 bit

I just did a operating system reinstall and now

The WLAN Driver has something wrong with it, I can connect to a network but don't have network or internet access (network is fine- works on all other computers). I tried disabling the power saving setting, updating the driver (which only makes it worse because it keeps telling me that it can't accept the driver due to it not having a digitally signed signature, even though I got it right here from HP's site -

I've also tried reinstalling the enitre OS again, which didnt work, I tried having the recovery manager manually reinstall the driver again, which didnt work

I also went to the control panel services and tried changing the WLAN to manual- that also made it worse so I changed it back-

I also tried a wired conneciton- no go on that as well

Not to mention the fact that the troubleshooter gives me a launch error if I try to "diagnose" etc the conneciton problem, and wont do anything at all

I've reinstalled the OS on this computer before and have never had this problem so I'm baffled as to what could have caused this

I'm pretty much at the end of my rope here

I need some serious help

Re: Internet not working after Windows Reinstall Pavilion DV7t-3300

I would probably start by testing the memory and hdd in BIOS setup. If diagnostics testing passes maybe run Recovery again. Are you using Recovery Disks or Recovery from the partition?
