My machine is a Pavilion dm4. When I connect this to my wifi modem, it gets multiple connections(home network & public network) and stays unable to connect to the internet (initially). But, when I disable the Local Area Connection (adapter) and enable it afterward, the problem is gone(no multiple connections shown - only the home network that I created).
