Printer 6500e plus won't work with laptop/vista

My laptop used to print on my hp 6500e plus until I upgraded my connection device to an ATT Aircard called Elevate -483.

It will not print now even when using a cable.

The toshiba laptop runs windows vista. I reinstalled the drivers. The printer shows that it recognizes the network e-483.

This printer is not very old and has been frustrating all along.

I also want to know how to set it up to scan.

I use it as a fax . That ability seems to come and go.
