Hi,
I bought a HP Pavilion Entertainment PC dv6650ee where Windows Vista 32 bit is preinstalled. But the Vista performance so poor in my machine. Now I have downgraded to Windows XP Professional. But lots of drivers are not there for XP. Please help me to get the drivers for LAN Card, Wirless LAN, Video, Audio, Modem, Base System Device, Coprocessor, HP Integrated Module, PCI Devices, IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers.
I have no idea why HP doesn't provide them.
Jupil

Sorry buddy, I tried with that but didn't work. I think that is for vista only.
Is there any one else please...
Vista is a real slow/disaster in dv6650ee box that I have. XP is very fast but I am upset of not getting the drivers for XP. I don't know why HP thinks that XP is too old for their products and they don't provide the drivers. But most of the people and industries are still in XP.

Then download CPU-Z, run it and post what chipset is reported by CPU-Z. Here is the URL as the link tool for responding isn't working well today.

Sorry...the link tool didn't work properly so I updated it.
CPUID is the name of the original free utility which identified CPUs and showed eveyrthing needed to know (by enthusiasts at least) about a CPU installed in a motherboard with Microsoft Windows installed.
The authors of CPUID then coded a program called CPU-Z which does what CPUID did and more. CPU-Z shows many details about a motherboard (including chipset), memory modules (manufacturer/date/memory speed/week of manufacture, SPD). The program has gone through many updates and is now able to recognize many more motherboards(by footprint, name and manufacturer including version number.) and new CPUs (AMD and Intel). It is an invaluable utility for gleaning information about a pc system running virtually any version of Microsoft Windows.

Hi,
Thanks for a nice tool cpu-z. I never knew about it. Its really handy. But I got the report and here I cannot paste all of them as this site shows that only 20,000 chars are allowed even though the report would not be that much big. Do you have any e-mail address so that I can send you there or just let me know which portion you want then I will paste that only here.
