Wireless Adapter Displays 'Disabled' When On

I have a Pavilion dv6 1245dx with a Broadcom 802.11 b/g wireless card in it. This morning when I turned the computer on it never connected to the internet. I checked the icon and it said the adapter was disabled. I immediately turned the adapter off and the display turned to off but when I turned it back on it read disabled again. The on/off switch also remains red, as it would normally turn blue when the adapter is on and working. I have no idea what could have happened. The wireless was working absolutely fine just last night  and I have never had this problem before. The network itself is working on both a wired and wireless computer. I even attempted downloading the drivers for the card on one of the other computers and installing them on mine but it had no effect. I am completely out of ideas. Is my wireless card shot and in need or replacement? Or are there other things I can try?
