Wireless Adapter disabled (error code 702) on HP ProBook 4431s

I just bought a HP Probook 4431s few weeks ago and when I turned it on today, it says

Wireless Module not supported
The system has detected a Wireless module installed in the system is not supported and disabled it
WLAN Module ID (702)
For more information, please visit: www.hp.com\go\techcenter\startup

Have you checked for latest BIOS update for the machine?

If the problem is not resloved I would request warranty service>>Contact HP

Yeah facing the same problem here! Went down to HP service center in Singapore and they asked me to reformat my laptop and try again. But the thing is there are too many school documents in my laptop.

Hi, thanks for your help. I've updated my BIOS but the message still shows... Guess I would have to bring it to the service centre on monday

Im a Year 1 student in SP this year. Doesnt have any school work in my laptop yet, but Im afraid they might erase those programme pre-installed (ie. autocad, adobe). Trying to do a back up now, lol

Hi! I'm also a SP freshmen! Mon is the start of sch alr and I have no wifi access on my laptop in sch which is so ridiculous. HP please do something about this please!
