Hello,
I have a dm4t 1000 hp pavilion computer. Model number WD471AV.
I am running windows 7 64 bit ultimate.
I clean installed to get rid of all the HP bloatware. As such I got rid of the HP wireless driver that came with my computer.
I am having trouble finding a wireless driver for my computer.
The drivers on the website are only upgrades; as such I need to find the driver from the manufacturer (which wireless card do I have?) website.
Please don't tell me to restore using the recovery partition.
Thank you very much in advance,
Dan

dm4 is configured either with Broadcom 4313 or Intel Wifi Link 1000....I will need the serial number of the unit to get the exact card on your notebook or here is driver for the 2 wireless cards...
Broadcom 4313 - ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48501-49000/sp48616
Intel Wifi Link 1000 - ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48001-48500/sp48482
Although I am an HP employee, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

My serial number is [removed for user safety]. I just tired installing the Broadcom driver and it came up with an error message saying 'The operating system is not supported. The software cannot be installed." I've also tried installing the Intel driver several times and while no error message has appeared, the wireless still does not work and the wireless card does not appear in my device manager.

I just got my wireless to work by downloading a different driver for the Broadcom 4313 wireless card. Thank you for your help.

The image you had posted just got published....Kindly remove the serial number for your posting now...

I have an HDX 16t. Bluetooth stopped working after upgrading from Vista to Windows 7. I would also like to get drivers/software from the manufacturer. If someone answers the original post, could they add something that lets me know what the manufacturer of the bluetooth hardware in the laptop is?

Unfortunately, if I read that page correctly, it says the problem might be that bluetooth needs to be turned on before intalling the bluetooth driver. Which leaves open the question I've been asking HP for a year. Where do I get a Windows 7 bluetooth driver for an HDX 16t?
The user with the dv7-1285dx was given a link to the page with the bluetooth driver for his system. I think if I could just get an updated driver, my problem would be solved as well.
