Wireless Functions have switched off / been disabled and can not get it reconnected

Hi,

I have a HP Pavilion g6 laptop.

Last week a gues tried to log on to my wireless internet connect which is when the problems seemed to have started.

at first she scouldnt get logged on and then I couldnt get logged on.

Eventually I got her sorted but my wireless died at that point and im only able to get online using my wired connection.

Basically computer saying the wireless devices on my computer have been turned off and I need to press the wireless button.

Pressing the wireless button simply changes the message between Wi-Fi off and wi-fi disabled.

There are no networks available or traceable on wireless either.

I have tried all the troubleshooting tips, bios, enabled, removing all previous networks and re-entered my network details etc

Nothing is working and HP Customer Support only opens during office hours when im at work.

Please help - I have tried everything I know to get it sorted (I know this sounds trivial but the wired internet cable is on the far side of the laptop to where I have to wit in accordance with where the box is meaning its pulling itself around - which isnt good)

I am having same probelm went to get free wi fi at Hoover library & even had the tech guy look at it & he couldnt fix it - H E L P !!!!!!!!!!!!!! 52 years old & computer stupid female !!!

Same problem wireless is on but not detecting wireless networks!!!!!!!!!!! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!
