Wireless capability won't turn on

Hi, I have a probook 4430s and last night the wifi was working just fine when suddenly it turned off. It's not just my wifi, it's any wifi at all. I keep trying to turn the wireless capability back on but the light on the button stays orange. I tried to do it through the device manager thing as well but nothing seems to work. Maybe I am just doing it wrong, but please help

can you be more specific when you say the Device Manager thing ??

I went to the control panel and clicked on device manager and looked for the wireless network to make sure it was enabled and everything was, so I don't know why it still won't connect to wifi

Also, now that I think about it my laptop stopped connecting to wifi after I changed the power settings. I don't think that was the cause since I've changed the power setting before, but just in case that matters, that's the last thing I did before it stopped working

try disabling your Wireless on Device manager, and then enable it again after a few seconds. If that don't work then try checking you BIOS settings for wireless. If it's disabled; enable it !!

It will only work if it's enabled on your BIOS setings !!

How do I get to my BIOS settings? Sorry if these are silly questions :3

On boot screen.. quickly press F10 repeatedly; other HP models will be different. Either F1 or Esc or F9 ans so on. try that out !!
