I'm running a new HP Pav DV4 on a Vist 64 bit system. The wireless will is connected to my network with a strong signal, but most websites are painfully slow. Some are not Google works great, but anything else doesn't come up. I also run a mac on the same wireless network (32 bit) and have not problems browsing at all.
I've tried connecting the HP to the netgear router directly wtih ethernet cable and all websites are fine, so I think this rules out Norton issues and IE8 add-on issues. I've updated to IE8 and all windows updates.
This is very frustrating! What about the wireless would allow google but nothing else??

having the same problem with my dv6 1245dx laptop.
I can't figure out why.
binairy reader are working fine, but everything else is only like a quarter of the speed.
like it's blocked or whatever.
disabled everything / uninstalled norton.. still the same.
starting to think it's a vista 64 bit problem here.

You might want to try this. Sometimes there are issues with ipv6 connecting with some sites. You might want to check out if ipv6 is disabled on your ethernet card first before changing your wireless adaptor.
