I have a 1-week-old Pavilion dv6-6c14nr, product number A6Y00UA. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1, 64 bit.
I can connect to the Internet through a wired connection but not wirelessly. When I press F12 nothing happens--the light stays orange. When I run the Connection Manager, I get the following message:
cannot load assembly:
System.data.SQLite, version = 1.0.61.0, culture = neutral,
Publickeytoken = db937bc2d44ff139
The application will now exit.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Gene

After fruitlessly trying a number of things suggested on the HP support site I finally uninstalled the HP Connection Manager. That solved the problem.

This is not a hardware failure. The solution is actually very simple.
Go to START -> Search for "Windows Mobility Center" -> Select "Turn Wireless On"
