Pavilion dv6-6c01eo (A7Q69EA)
Windows 7 64-bit
Network controller is missing
Have formatted the computer with a windos 7 64-bit CD disc.
Updated drivers through the HP website, downloaded all four drivers were of a single function and it is, sp54998.exe [1/1, 5.7M] works. Other 3 updates that, sp55714.exe[1/1, 279.13M] sp55805.exe [1/1, 11.55M] sp56036.exe [1/1, 10.77M] does not work. I have internet via Ethernet cable, but I have no internet via wireless netverk, it will not work because I have no driver for network controller. I need to download these drivers, where they work.

Hi:
Please click on the network adapter in the device manager.
Then click on the details tab.
In the Properties drop down list, select the second item (Hardware ID's).
Post the top string of characters you see in the window.
Those will ID the model of the network card, and I will send you the link to the drivers you need.
Sometimes HP doesn't have the drivers for every card they put in the notebook on the support and driver page.

Hi:
You have the Realtek RTL8188CE 802.11b/g/n Wireless LAN adapter.
Below is the link to the latest driver for that wireless adapter.

Hi, delepaix:
That is not a wireless network adapter you posted the hardware ID's for.
That is your Realtek gigabit ethernet (wired) adapter that needs drivers.
Please post the hardware ID for your WLAN card.
Paul
