hi, my laptop is fairly new i only brought it a few months ago, im pretty good with computers but this problem has stumped me 
im running a hp pavilion g6 laptop, intel core i3 cpu, 4gb ram, 64 bit os, windows 7 home premium sp1.
im also running avg anti-virus which ive had on several computers over several years and never had a problem with.
im now with sky broadband but problem started when i was with bt around 6 weeks ago.
the problem is whenever i update windows when there is updates it either is fine after the restart, but then when i turn on the next day i cannot connect to the internet either by wireless or cable, or sometimes it does it straight away but it normally waits until the next day.
it says limited access, and my avg firewall is knocked out. i cant get support when this happends as there is no net to get online so i have to restore my laptop to a previous time to get net back.
this is getting really annoying now as its a fairly new latop and hasnt been used for anything other then net and gaming, i dont change settings or download things that would cause a problem. and its everytime i update windows now which i really cant get my head around. it even does it when hp trys to update so i have all updates turned to ask me first.
i think the cause may be the network/broadcom wireless adapter but it says the drivers are up to date and i cant check them when it all goes wrong as no net. my net works fine with my phone so i know its not the net thats the problem.
i dont think its avg as it only happends when the net is knocked out so im sure it must be the wi-fi adapter.
can anyone help me? i didnt want to start phoning around hp/windows/avg to spend hours on the phone with little help before trying something else, any help would be a massive help! thanks in advance
