I'm using a new HP Photosmart Premium C310 printer with Mac OS Lion (v10.7.3).
HP Product Information is:
Serial Number: CN1882110805KM
Firmware Version: TPI2CN1038BR
Base Firmware Version: TPICN1038BR
Service ID: 22111
Printer ID: 1
After downloading and installing the most recent Lion compliant driver and printer utilities from your support website (i.e. HP_Lion_Ink_SW_v12.13.14), the printer functions as expected ... but only if it is connected to my iMac via a USB port . I cannot get the printer to operate in a wireless mode.
When using setup assistant from my iMac, with the printer connected via a USB port, setup cannot be completed because the printer does not recognize my Airport network ... in spite of many attempts to do so (after cycling the power on my ISP modem, my Airport Time Capsule wireless router, and the printer; and after verifyiing the network SSID and WPA password). Screen shots of the setup wizard screens are attahced below the order they were encountered.
Printer's Wireless Network Test Report indicates that "The wireless radio is not functioning. Contact HP Support."
Printer's blue wireless light flashes slowly indicating (according to my manual) that "The wireless radio is on but it is not connected to a network. It may be trying to connect."
In the Diagnostics Summary section of the wireless network test report the following is indicated:
Wireless On: PASS
Wireless Working: FAIL
Suggestions for fixing this problem would be most appreciated as I have run out of ideas.
Thanks in advance for your time!
