Hi,
I have a compaq mini 110c-1100ca using ubuntu netbook edition. (had to switch to ubuntu as the netbook only had windows xp french edition)
When trying to connect to our wifi it says "missing firmware".
A friend told me to update the drivers by either using a flash drive or by physically connecting to the router and to update the firmware for the wifi controller/card.
I'm not that knowledgeable about computers and usually learn as I go but I can't find any info on exactly how to do this.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
