how do I turn on my wireless capability?

The model number of my HP Pavioion laptop is PP282UA#ABA.  For some uniknown reasson the wireless device is turned off.  The OS is upgraded to Windows 7 32-bit Home Premium

I have a lap top HP, model number dv5-2129wm and the wireless capability wont turn on or something is wrong with it and I really need it to work because I need to use my laptop to do my college work online. Could anyone help me on trying to figure out how to get it on or hoe to get it to start working?

this post helped me, on my HP laptop, the f12 is the turn on/off for the wireless connection.  Look for a yellow light on a key with a picture of an antenna and press it for a few seconds.  Hope this helps!

I have a HP TouchSmart600 pc and as of this evening it keeps telling me that my wireless capibilities are turned off. How on earth do I turn them back on? It doesn't have switch as laptops do and I couldn't find any shortcuts using the FN key. Please help!!!!

Im using vista operating system on my desktop and I cannot get the desktop to read or recognize the wireless connection.  When i go to network and sharing it does not even show a wireless connection.

My router shows wireless because the light for wireless connection turns blue. I have netgear router.

How can I turn on the wireless on in my desktop.

Ps...my desktop keyboard does not have fn key
