how to print from mac lion os

I was trying to connect the N/W printer HP9050dn through a print server (running Server 2003 OS) into the Mac running Lion OS, after adding in the printer, it will prompt for user name and password, but when I sent my print job to the printer, it always paused and unable to print out from the printer, anyone can help?
