hp connection manager

i have a hp g6 1201tx notebook.when i open hp connection manager  error "hp connection manager service not installed.application will exit" appears.i also installed new version but same promblem is occuring

Hi iitian,

 

Welcome to the Forum!

 

Ideas / options to consider:

 

Option 1:

You may be missing a prerequisite package:

.Net Framework version 3.5 SP1 must be installed

 

Option 2:

Assuming the package has installed at all...

I would suggest that you remove any previously installed version and then install the new version.

 

Control Panel > icon view > Programs and Features >

Scroll down, find, and Uninstall HP Connection Manager >

Reboot / Restart the computer

 

Install:

HP Connection Manager V 4.1.25.1

 

This method may work more effectively than just installing over the top of the existing non-working version.

Option 3:

Make sure your LAN, Wireless, and Bluetooth drivers are already updated / installed.  The Connection manager likes things to be tidy.
