Hi I am trying to fix a laptop for a friend whose laptop keeps giving the message HP Connection Manager Service is not installed. The application will now exit and the applocation closes.  How can I reinstall the service so the Connection Manager will run and the error messages stop happening?

If you properly identify the notebook with the p/n found inside the main battery compartment then I will be able to provide you with a link to the software that you need  to install.

You may also reinstall the HP connection software from the Recovery manager.

My appologies I should have included all of the model number information in my original post.

The laptop is a Presario Model  CQ57-307TU  Product A3D93PA#ABG Rev 3672-110

 No worries.

Here is where the downloadable HP connection manager is for your friend's notebook. It is compatible with all recent Microsof Window operating system. Download it and dowble click on the executable to install the HP Connection manager.

Many thanks Erico It worked but only after I removed the Connection Manager completely and then reinstalled from scratch..OzyJim
