my dv4 1116tx has bluetooth,

hp update the software to bluetooth v3.0, now bluetooth cant be recognized by laptop, what to do thanks

Hi Macain,

 

Welcome to the forum.

 

Consider / Try:

 

Try this Update to the Atheros LAN card,

then Install the HP connection Manager.

 

Use the HP Connection Manager to straighten out what is going on with the Bluetooth.

Atheros 2011 Wireless LAN Driver V 9.2.0.444

 

  • NOTE the name and the location of the file when you save the file.  The *.exe file will likely save to the "Downloads“folder.
  • Install the Software / Driver installation package.  If you have ‘Admin’ control, you may highlight the package and “double-click” to install it, else Right-Click, Select ‘run as Administrator’ and install.

I would suggest that you remove any previously installed version of the Connection Manager and then install the new version.

 

Control Panel > icon view > Programs and Features >

Scroll down, find, and Uninstall "HP Connection Manager" >

Reboot / Restart the computer

 

Install:

HP Connection Manager V 4.1.25.1
