network controller driver problems on presario cq62-215dx

now i can see the wireless icon in the task bar but with a red x ..if i mouse over ..there is a pop up message saying not connected -No connections Available.

You should try scannning and see if it finds any wireless networks. I don't know what else to tell you. The driver is loaded.

ok i did scan but am connecting to the wireless as soon i switch my network adaptor on only  for about 2 seconds, then the adaptor is deactvated again.

I have the same problem. My strings of numbers are at the bottom.  I am updating a friends computer but the wifi no longer works. i already know it is missing a driver, Ive had this problem befor with my computer, but mine is a diffefent brand so the site i get drivers from wont work for her computer. It is a compaq presario cq62 with windows 7 32 bit. The above posted location for the driver is no longer a working page
