I performed a format on my HP mini 210-1170ss and installed a new copy of Windows 7 Professional (32b).
I started installing all essential dirvers from http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategor
Reception sometimes works and i am able to connect to the wifi but it disconnects after a few minutes and doesn't work anymore. It simply doesn't detect anything at all and i would only be able to use internet thorugh a lan cable..
Any help on the matter will be much welcomed.
Thanks

Hi:
What wireless adapter do you have installed in your notebook? What driver version are you running on that adapter?

Hi,
The adapter is a Broadcom 4313 802.11b/g/n
Therefore I installed this driver from HP:
And the version running is:
5.60.350.6

was full of hopes.. but same same..
up to the point i've been trying to get HP Recovery Manager software, so i can bring the notebook to factory settings, since i have the Recovery partition intact, but don't have any Disks.. can't seem to find that software either..
i really don't know what else to do.. but having a notebook with working wifi is so not good ..

Hi:
Sorry the updated driver didn't do the trick. I guess recovery using the partion is your best bet at this point.
I do not see that recovery disks are available for your notebook from HP.

Hi:
Did you hit the F11 key at the HP splash screen to see if you can launch the recovery process that way?
If so, and you can't access the recovery partition, I don't know what to tell you.
Paul
